Known Before Named

"Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!"- Psalm 95:6

Names are cool, you know? I mean, we use them as a way to get one’s attention, to affirm, to acknowledge and celebrate, and it is unique to each and every individual. There is something about being called by your name (maybe not your full name because that usually indicates you are in trouble), there is a feeling that comes with that. And thinking of that last night, some thoughts came to mind. Think about this: Before you were named by your parents, you were known by your Creator. He knew your life, where you would be at this moment, the people you would have around you, and He knows where you are going. The future can be scary, where we are going is unknown to us, but not to Him. He has a plan and path for us, let that breathe a confidence into you, let that build on the foundation of Him in your life that is a fortress, and trust Him with everything you have, worship Him, because He doesn't want your praise and worship only on Sundays, He wants your Tuesday morning, He wants your every moment and He is worthy of that and our praise for the rest of our lives, that He has seen to the very last day. So live your life with abundant joy, constant worship, let your life reflect worship in every sense to this world and watch Him carry light to every dark corner of this world.
