New Every Morning

“Because of the LORD’s faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!” - Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭22‬-‭23‬

Take a breath. I don’t know what yesterday held for you, it could have been a tougher day, it could have been a great day, but now it’s gone, nothing to be changed or added. Take another breath. A new morning and day awaits out there, and maybe you have work, maybe you have a to do list, maybe you have an event or something to attend this evening but be present right now with Jesus. The mercies mentioned in this verse are renewed, spend time in His presence this morning, in prayer for the day ahead. Our faithful Father in Heaven knows how this day goes before we even take a step, let that breathe confidence as we approach a day of unknowns to us, but known to the God who loves us, is right beside us and will never leave our side on our best and brightest days, as well as our valleys and everything in between. You matter to God, to others, and many more to come. Go make the most of today and let God use you to change someone’s else’s day around.
