Every Breath

“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.”- Nahum 1:7

Every breath we take, our hope, our joy is being plotted against. See, we woke up this morning to a day with endless possibilities, and yet the enemy is going to try and trap us in the lies, the doubts, the overthinking, and the worst case scenario thinking. But remember these words when the enemy tries to take you captive today, and in the near future: The Lord is good. The Lord is good when we face trials and circumstances beyond our control. The Lord is good when we can’t feel it or see it. The Lord is good in every single breath we take. Today may bring pain, suffering, a situation we can’t face on our own, anxiousness, sickness, and the kitchen sink with it, but through it all He is good and through it all we are conquerors over all of those things because of Him. He conquered shame, the enemy, the doubts, the fears, the lies and death for eternity when He stepped out of the grave, now let the enemy feel that with every breath you take today, remind Satan who you belong to with every single step: King Jesus. Hallelujah.
