Choose Worship
“You turned my mourning into dancing; you peeled off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,”- Psalm 30:11
Have you ever faced a tough choice with more than a few options? I remember vividly back in high school, I had a choice daily at the school store between a Big Tex honey bun, Skittles, and Pop Tarts. 3 great options, and maybe you have faced a similar choice in your life between a trio of options. What we don’t know is that we face a choice daily between 3 words: Wallow, worry, and worship. Will we wallow in our present circumstances or our seemingly inescapable past? Will we worry about our future, our desires, our fame and focus on our weaknesses? Or will we worship? Not ourselves, not our money, not our potential, but worship the Father who is worthy in every single circumstance, worship the Father who holds it all together, worship the Provider who has stepped in when we thought it was impossible, worship the Protector who made us feel safe and secure when we thought it was not tangible, worship our Creator who knitted us with intent and strength, worship King Jesus. Whatever you may be facing right now, He is greater, whatever may stand in your way, He will be with you through it, so let the enemy know today that you will choose worship, choose joy, choose love and let that shake the gates of hell with every step you take.
