Only One You

“For you formed my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”- Psalm 139:13

Over 8 billion people inhabit this world. There may be some who have the exact same name as you (which is wild to think about), but here’s the thing: There is only one you. You have a story that no one else can tell, you have quirks and talents that are unique to you. Like, I make a solid PB&J sandwich, I embrace that as a talent. You are not an accident, you are loved, you are valued, you are appreciated, and fashioned by the One who holds everything together. Today, step into your talents, your spiritual gifts (because you got them), and remember the way you were created: intimately, with purpose, by a God who is using you for His glory, and you are helping others find comfort, confidence, laughter, joy, trust, hope, and so many other beautiful things that make the enemy sick. Let your light shine, let it burst out of your soul, and let someone know today, maybe for the first time ever, that they are known, loved, and created by the Lord, and watch the chains fall. Let’s go.
