He Knows Your Name

“Now this is what the Lord says — the One who created you, Jacob, and the One who formed you, Israel — “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.” - Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭1‬

Can you remember the last time you were called by your full name? Like full government name. Probably been a minute right? Usually, the full name gets brought out when we got in trouble as kids with your parents or worse, over the intercom at school, but I want to take this thought deeper for a moment. The King of Heaven knows your name. Read that again. The King of Kings knows your name, the hairs on your head, the ups and downs of your life until now and for the rest of your days. What emotions did that evoke in you? Let’s take it even further: Your name is prayed over in His throne room each and every day. People enter His courts with intercession on your behalf. Who are we doing that for? Who can we do that for today? Who can we uplift with a reminder of who they were created by? A co-worker, a sibling, a parent, a mentor, a friend, don’t let today pass without letting someone know who they are known by, who they were created by: the same God who reigns on the throne over every circumstance, every trial, every mountaintop moment and each and every breath to come from now until the end.

Remember how loved you are by the ones He created around you, and by the One who formed you.
