Child Of The King

Labels. You see them on cereal boxes, commercials, and everywhere you look. What about the labels we have inherited on this earth? I remember the first label I was given in 1st grade: Carrot Top. It morphed into ginger and Ronald Weasley among others, but think back to a nickname or label you wore or still wear today. It goes deeper than that. Some of you have the label of brother, sister, others a mom or dad, CEO, nurse, teacher, we will always be taking on different labels as we go further into this life. However, none of them compare to this one: Creation of the King. Read that again. See, you were formed by the Creator of the universe, not by accident, not by chance, but for a purpose. He knows your name, your past, your present, your future, and every label you will ever take in this life. And there are so many in this world, walking with a different label: Spiritually Dead. As we once were, or maybe still are. Maybe today is the day you shed that label and give your life to Jesus. Maybe you just thought of someone in your life that has been running, searching for all the labels the world could give ever them to affirm them, when all they ever needed was to run to the arms of their Creator, so they could step into being a child of the King. Step boldly today and speak to that person, step confidently in who He has created you to be, and watch as the labels of the world fade along with the weapons of the enemy.
