Made In His Image

“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”- Genesis 1:27

Not in the image of the world. Not in the image of social media. Not in the image of our failures.  Not in the image of our successes. Not in the image of our desires. Not in the image of anyone else.

Made in the image of God.

Let it sink in this morning, that none of us were an accident. That every single soul who will ever walk this earth was created with a purpose, to glorify our God. Know that you are valued by Him, that who you are is not a mistake, but rather a miracle. That you do not have to constantly prove your worth in your works and actions, that we cannot do anything to make God love us any more, or any less. We look to the past to see what God has done and brought us from, and we look to the future to believe what He is going to do next. I can’t wait to see what He has in store.

You are loved.
